DESCRIPTION

The Sprint – Department of Calvados is the event of the program which is aimed at all participants , with a capacity of 2,100 places. Get ready to register, because places are going fast!

FIRST COMPETITION AT SEA ?

The apprentice triathletes start their multi-effort with their feet in the sand before setting off for 500 meters of swimming in the sea (temperature 16 to 20 degrees).

ROLLING AND FAST BIKE

The bike course is accessible but requires a minimum of training! The circuit follows the streets of downtown Deauville (the exit is by avoiding the Saint-Laurent coast via Saint-Arnoult) then the route engulfs the green roads of the Pays d’Auge. The route takes the form of a 23 km loop with a drop of 376m, it should be noted that there is a difficulty at the end of the route from Blonville sur Mer (km 15) to Bénerville sur Mer (km 18). these two difficulties the course is rolling, the objective being to leave a pleasant memory to the participants. Drafting is not allowed.

A MYTHICAL ROUTE FOR THE FINAL EVENT

The running course is exactly the same as that of the Long Distance and Olympic Distance. The 5km loop passes through the natural park before going along the famous Planches in their entirety. Finally, the triathletes run along the marina before reaching the finish line on Avenue Lucien Barrière.

TARIFS

Non-Licensed : Triathletes who are not licensed to a triathlon federation (French Federation or ITU equivalent: http://www.triathlon.org/federations ) must subscribe to a Competition Pass with the FFTRI in the amount of €5 ( for solos) and €2 for relays – to be paid on the registration platform. For further information, you can see the FAQ .

EXCHANGE OF BIBS

The resale of bibs is possible for this event (excluding relays) only if the event is complete. Like last year, you can resell your bib to another enthusiast in just a few clicks. If the event is not complete, you can transfer your bib to a friend. All you have to do is go to the  Swika platform  and deposit in a few clicks using your reservation code and your email address. Under no circumstances is the participant authorized to sell his or her bib via a merchant site other than the one previously mentioned; advertising of such an offer is strictly prohibited.

CANCELLATION POLICY

You can take out cancellation insurance for adult events (Full Distance, Long Distance, Olympic Distance, Olympic Distance 750, Sprint). It must be subscribed to when you register on the platform.
