AN EVENT OF SWIMMING IN OPEN SEA, SENSATIONS GUARANTEED!
The swim start is given on the famous sandy beach of Deauville, with its colorful umbrellas.
Expect a water temperature between 16 and 20 degrees as well as currents that shook a little.
Note that the swim will be launched at high tide and an exit at the Australian is scheduled, a 950m loop swim perform twice.
A POST CARD OF NORMANDY, BETWEEN LAND AND SEA
Our cycle route allow you to discover the most beautiful landscapes of Normandy: thatched cottages, stud farms, lush meadows, crossing 9 augerons typical villages, sweeping views of the sea … But beware, our journey is not a health walk. The 42km loop (to make 2 times) is very technical and while recovery. The first difficulty comes soon after 2km course with the famous coast of Saint-Laurent (15% gradient over 1km). The descent towards Saint-Arnoult is then very technical. Hardly time to recover it’s long coast Reux looming, then of Benerville-sur-Mer before the final dive and return to Deauville by the Clairefontaine racecourse.
RUN ON THE MYTHICAL BOARDS DEAUVILLE
The running course takes the triathletes to the legendary Planches de Deauville which will be covered in their entirety. The arrival will be facing the sea on Avenue Lucien Barrière like stars!
TARIFS
Non-Licensed : Triathletes who are not licensed to a triathlon federation (French Federation or ITU equivalent: http://www.triathlon.org/federations ) must subscribe to a Competition Pass with the FFTRI in the amount of €40 ( for solos) and €2 for relays – to be paid on the registration platform. EXCHANGE OF BIBS
The resale of bibs is possible for this event (excluding relays) only if the event is complete. Like last year, you can resell your bib to another enthusiast in just a few clicks. If the event is not complete, you can transfer your bib to a friend. All you have to do is go to the Swika platform and deposit in a few clicks using your reservation code and your email address. Under no circumstances is the participant authorized to sell his or her bib via a merchant site other than the one previously mentioned; advertising of such an offer is strictly prohibited.
CANCELLATION POLICY
You can take out cancellation insurance for adult events (Full Distance, Long Distance, Olympic Distance, DO750, Discovery). It must be subscribed to when you register on the platform.
